Very simply, it allows you to jot down the website address, see-cv.com and your unique code on a small scrap of paper - armed with this, you can effectively hand out your CV to anyone without needing to print anything our or carry lots of sheets of paper. It also means you can effectively "add" your entire CV to the bottom of a business card. Can it be used for any other documents? In a word, Yes. Documents will be given a unique ID code consisting of five letters and four digits. To find your file without the ID is virtually impossible. HOWEVER, this system is designed to make it simple for potential employers to access your CV, it is NOT intended to protect secure documents.
